| Harsh Delights by Quintin Gonzalez Quintin Gonzalez lives and works in Denver Colorado where he is an interdisciplinary artist and an associate professor of painting and drawing at the University of Colorado Denver. His alternative comic “Harsh Delights” is a fusion of poetic narratives that explore the pictorial dynamics between word and image. Each page uses language to allude to the imagery of this work in an intangible manner where dreamlike utterances are interwoven with images. This work uses the sequential visual language of the comic book to express an artistic narrative that is guided by the will to express the power and profundity of the imagination. | |
