Bam Bam and the Barbarians by Joaquin de la Puente and Josh Bayer

Josh Bayer was born in Buffalo, New York and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He now lives in Brooklyn. He first began to publish work in 'zines and has continued to gain recognition as an artist and cartoonist. His accomplishments include collaborations with Raymond Pettibon on three 'zines between 1999 and 2002. Josh was commissioned to design work for HBO's Romeopening credits. Chris Ware and Anne Elizabeth Moore selected Josh’s comic The Fighteras one of the 100 outstanding comics in The Best Comics of 2007 anthology. In 2007, he completed his most recent long form comic The Bike Rider in which Bam Bam Ruble first appeared as a supporting character. Joaquin de la Puente is an artist living and working on the American continent in an attempt to be charged with sedition for his art. He believes in the revolutionary potential of art to inspire deeds that are themselves revolutionary. His works include the decade plus aged publication Starfucker co-edited by all its contributors, a bunch of bands all going under the name D.O.G., continuing participation in a movie production collective called Benzfilm and several movie projects of his own including a screenplay called Conquest '85 that the comic Bam Bam and the Barbarians is based on.
